Lose Belly Fat
Both male and female have a desire to lose fat around the midriff – affectionately known as belly fat. But this objective to lose belly fat is not as easy as it would seem, and for many people it is quite difficult indeed. Other parts of the body may be able to be trimmed down or toned up, but the belly seems to be the stubborn one, hardest to budge and hardest to improve. Our goal is to lose that belly fat and start on the road to achieve those chisel six pack abs that look so desirable. So where do we start? Diet
Make sure you have assessed your diet and taken drastic action to remove those food groups you know you love, but also know should avoid. Start with the sweets, the fatty foods, the high salt foods and the fried foods. You might need to go so far as to go through your cupboards and get rid of all the foods that you know are unhealthy and are there to tempt you. It is something you will just need to “bite the bullet” and do, impose a bit of discipline, focus on the benefits, and get on and clear out those chips and crisps and chocolate and sweets from the cupboard.
To have any real chance of success, before you start exercising, if you want to lose belly fat, then you are going to have to make sure that you are cutting all of the sugar and sugary foods from your diet.
Exercise
Exercise is the next great challenge. The stomach does not seem to benefit from all the incidental exercise you get through the normal day such as walking. When you are walking, you are burning fat off your thighs and legs but your stomach really doesn’t get any benefit from this work. So you need to have a targeted exercise program to lose belly fat.
This will involve doing the right form and style of exercises to maximise the benefit from the effort. There are some great abdominal crunches and other exercises that you can do which are going to target your problem area, your stomach that will help you get rid of that belly fat.
Motivation
Motivation is the key. If you want to lose belly fat then you are going to have to be dedicated and motivated. Focus on that slimmer trimmer you, the clothes you will be able to fit in, those extra notches on your belt. You are not going to be able to slack off here because then the fat is just going to stay on. By following a strict diet and exercise regime is something that you are going to have to take very seriously and make a major part of your life.
As always, the first few days are going to be the hardest and you will probably be getting some intense cravings, but once you get past the first few days your cravings will cease. Then as time goes on you will see that it will only keep getting easier and easier.
