Exercise to Lose Belly Fat
Exercises specifically targeting your abdominals is a very important element in your plan to lose belly fat.
There are numerous exercise to lose belly fat that would be suitable but really only a select few exercises for stomach that are going to get you the results that you are looking for here.
Bicycle Crunches
This is one of the best, and most effective exercises for your abdominals. Bicycle crunches are great if you want to zero in on the abdominal area. These exercises are also very straight forward to do, and all you have to do is lie flat on your back with your hands behind your head, legs out stratight at first.
You want to make sure that you hold your head up by your hands and your legs out straight. It is important to know that if your body is not in the right position while you are performing this exercise then you are not going to be getting the results that you want.
Now you start pulling your legs towards your stomach with your stomach remaining flat just like you are riding a bicycle, and you go left and right, back and forth just as though you were really riding a bicycle in real life. Do this for 2 minutes at first, then gradually build up over the course of a few weeks.
Stability Ball Crunches
Another great option for exercise to lose belly fat requires the use of the stability ball. All you need is an exercise ball which you can purchase for about $20 from any exercise or fitness store. This exercise is performed by lying backwards on the ball and then you lift your upper body just as though you were doing a regular sit up.

You know you will really be working your abs because while you are doing the sit up you are also having to work to make sure that you are keeping your balance.
These are both great exercises, but remember that if you really want to lose belly fat and get those hot washboard abs, then you are going to have to get lots of variety and mix up your routine. And of course there is the diet issue – one for another day, but you will need to be very careful in regards to the different foods that you are eating because this is going to make or break the progress you make with your exercises.
