One of the most popular programs being sold online in the fitness and weight-loss market, is “Truth About Six Pack Abs”. This program was developed by fitness expert Mike Geary, and purports to offer a comprehensive fitness and weightloss plan. So does Truth About Six Pack Abs live up to all the hype? Or is it just some gimmicky book rehashing old stuff with little new information?
Well, I am not much of a work-out junky, but I do go through fits and starts at getting the guilts about losing weight and not going to the gym. And I really do need to get rid of this belly-fat that comes on in your thirty’s. So I read the sales page and thought that it at least worth investigating. The sales claims were fairly compelling. I checked it out on line a bit for reviews of Truth About Six Pack Abs, and there was pretty universal satisfaction with it so I took the plunge! In fact it was the $4.95 two week trial option that I took from memory.
What ’s Inside?
I was surprised that the amount of information was quite comprehensive, and took me some time to get through the whole manual. It starts with a good run down of the essential anatomy, presented in an easy-to-absorb manner. It is pretty important for knowing what you want to achieve, andwhat NOT to train. The author spends some time dispelling the big myths about getting super-flat abdominals – like how too much cardio exercise works against you.
He has a couple of special insider-secrets that are really cool, and I won’t spill the beans, cause it might be against the terms. He has an awesome section on complimentary and dietary suggestions, which is excellent.
The program is a step-by-step program with 8 levels of total body exercises combined with 8 levels of ab training. All underpinned by a solid rationale and a comprehensive diet and nutrition program.
Exercise
The exercise component is more of a revelation. Here’s the good news: it is not all about crunches. Mike Geary has a full regimen of exercise that can be performed for about 30 minutes at a time only two or three times a week. What a relief! And you don’t need to go to the gym. His technique is ingenious and easy to follow – each exercise (there are about 50 to use and choose) has easy-to-follow instructions and photos of what you need to do. Look out for the “advanced secret weapon exercises” that aren’t focused on your abs, but work your abs better than any crunch could.
He has got a great section on cardiovascular exercise – always essential – but you need to have a cardio routine that suits you weight loss goals and supports (not hinders) your ab strengthening program.
Nutrition
The nutrition information was a real eye opener. None of this stuff you’ve heard before about low fat, low carb, low salt etc. This is a real meal planner, fully explained and it makes sense. There are recipes and great ideas for meals. He talks about the two hidden monsters in our diet that prevent us from burning fat, no matter how much we exercise.
Who Should Get Truth About Six Pack Abs?
Truth About Six Pack Abs is not targeted at 20 year old males who live in the gym. In fact this product is even more suitable to those people who need to lose weight and flatten their tummies who CANT get to the gym. This includes women – post children, it includes the male who has started to get that middle age paunch, or indeed the overweight person looking for an all round home-based exercise program that will help them quickly lose weight.
Is it worth $39?
It is very much worth the $39 price tag. In fact the last time I checked, Mike Geary was offering a $5 introductory offer, send it back if you don’t like it or keep it and pay the balance.
More than just an “abs program”, I think it is a very good weight-loss and exercise regime that I have benefited greatly from. CLICK HERE to get your copy.

Hi Bernard,
My name is Marilyn Morgan and I’m currently creating an ebook on Fitness and Health. I came across your article on a number of different sites and realized that you are an expert in this niche market. I have read your article and realize that you’d be perfect for inclusion in my new ebook.
I am currently putting together an expert compendium on the subject and I’d be delighted if you would be kind enough to let me include your article in my book. Also if you had any other articles please send them over and if they’re suitable, I can include them as well.
Of course I would include links back to your website and this would mean free visitors to your website and publicity without you spending a dime. Not only that, as I intend to market this product in a big way, your reputation as an expert would be increased even further.
This is a win win situation for you Bernard and all you need to do is email me back with confirmation that it is ok to include you in the experts compendium and I’ll do the rest.
Thank you for your time,
Marilyn Morgan
